  • We welcome students ages 6 and up, including adults. Lessons are tailored to each student's age, learning style, and pace. It is never too late to start.


  • Yes. We offer a complimentary 20-minute trial lesson so you can experience our teaching approach, meet Kamal, and try your chosen instrument before making any commitment.


  • Not to start. We can provide an instrument for your first lessons. When you're ready to commit, Kamal will help you choose and purchase the right instrument for your level and budget.

  • We teach Hindustani (North Indian) classical music. This includes raga theory, traditional compositions, improvisation, and the rich philosophical traditions behind the music.


  • Yes. Students can perform at student showcases and cultural events like Guru Purnima celebrations. Advanced students who demonstrate strong proficiency may be invited to perform in professional concert settings.


  • We ask for at least 24 hours notice for cancellations. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may be forfeited. We understand that life happens and will always try to accommodate rescheduling when possible.


  • Book a free trial lesson through our website or call Kamal directly at (510) 304-7904. During the trial, you'll play your chosen instrument, discuss your goals, and get a personalized plan for your learning journey.

  • 30 minutes standard. 45/60 for intermediate/advanced students.

  • Yes. We offer both in-person lessons in the Bay Area and online lessons via Zoom for students anywhere in the world. Many of our students alternate between in-person and online depending on their schedule.


  • Most students take one lesson per week. Consistency matters more than frequency. We'll work with you to find a schedule that fits your life and supports steady progress.
