Your Learning Path
Foundation
Posture, tuning, basic strokes, and your first raga. Building the physical and theoretical base.
Every student progresses through ragas at their own pace. Each stage focuses on a specific raga encompassing compositions, paltas, alankaars, taans, and vistaars.

Development
Expanding raga repertoire, introducing alankaar patterns and compositions. Refining tone and rhythm.

Intermediate
Complex ragas, taan development, and beginning improvisation. Half of each lesson spent on creative exploration.
03
Advanced
Full raga presentation, concert preparation, and performance opportunities at student showcases and cultural events.

Lesson Length
30 minutes standard. 45/60 for intermediate/advanced students.
Who It's For
Ages 6 and up. Complete beginners through advanced players. No prior experience needed.
Location
In-person in the Bay Area or online via Zoom. Your choice, every lesson.
